Difference between grouper and mandarin fish

Grouper and mandarin fish are two different fish, and there are some differences between them:
The morphological characteristics are different. Groupers are oval in shape, flat on their sides, with a large head and a large mouth. The snout is short and blunt. The dorsal fin is strong. The body color will change with the environment. The mandarin fish has a flat side, a bulge on the back, a large end of the mouth, a slightly prominent mandible, a small round scale, a long dorsal fin, a dark green body, a yellow and white abdomen, and many irregular dark brown spots and patches on the body side.
Living habits are different. Grouper is a warm water of large and medium-sized marine fish, inhabit in the coastal islands near the reef, gravel, coral reef bottom of the sea area, generally not in groups. The mandarin fish is widely distributed in rivers, lakes and reservoirs, and likes to inhabit clean, transparent and micro-flowing environment.
Feeding is different. Groupers prey on benthic crustaceans, various small fishes and cephalopods by surprise. Mandarin fish is a typical carnivorous fish, like to eat live bait, such as silver carp, grass carp, herring and so on.
The distribution range is different. Groupers are found in the Pacific Northwest, including South Korea, Japan, South China, and Vietnam. Mandarin fish is widely distributed in all major water systems in China.
In addition, in terms of nutritional value, grouper and mandarin fish are rich in protein, fat, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and other nutrients, which are beneficial to human health.
